Shipping
Everything purchased through Meta Cortex is printed to order through a trusted production partner with fulfilment centres around the world. Most items are usually produced within 2–5 working days before being shipped.
Shipping prices and estimated delivery times are calculated based on your delivery address and will be shown in your basket once products have been added.
Express shipping is not available at this time.
Please note that all delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
Quality
Meta Cortex is built around premium fan-inspired products, designed with care and made to feel a little more special than the usual throwaway print-on-demand output.
Every design is created by me, a lifelong fan of cult movies, TV shows, games, and pop culture. I created them for people who share the same passions as I do.
T-Shirts
All Meta Cortex t-shirts use the unisex Comfort Colors 1717 blank, customised with Meta Cortex branding on the right sleeve and outer back label.
Comfort Colors shirts are garment-dyed for a soft, lived-in feel, with minimal shrinkage at home. They’re made from 100% soft ring-spun U.S. cotton and feature a relaxed fit, seamless body, classic rib collar, shoulder-to-shoulder twill tape, and durable cotton stitching.
They are also made using OEKO-TEX certified low-impact dyes, with clean pigment dye colours that are salt-free.
Most designs are printed using an expanded Direct-to-Garment print area, giving the artwork more room to breathe than many standard printed t-shirts.

Returns & Cancellations
If you have a problem with your order within 30 days of purchase and wish for to enquire about a replacement or refund, please pay attention to the following guidelines before getting in touch:
If your problem is any of the following:
- Incorrect item
- Print error
- Lost in transit
- Defect
As long as you can provide evidence of the problem, there's no need to return anything. Refunds/replacements will be issued as directed.
Refunds or replacements will NOT be issued under the following circumstances (unless by discretion):
- Ordered the wrong size/colour
- Unwanted item
- Late delivery
Cancellations may be requested within 24 hours of your order however once an item has gone to print it cannot be cancelled and will be shipped out regardless.
If you wish to get in touch, you can either use the standard contact page or if you have a registered account, access the Central Terminal and put in a priority support request.

T-shirt
Measurements are taken underarm to underarm and back collar to bottom hem. All sizes are approximate and may vary by up to 5 cm.

What is Meta Cortex?
It's a one man mission to regain some control and sanity to showcase and sell the many many designs that have been created over a period of 20 years. In simpler terms it's my way of expressing my love for the movie/TV and video game fandoms that I've acquired over the years. More information is available on the info page
What are the Archive Files?
The Archive is a monthly curated collection of themed products selected from the Meta Cortex design archives. Every month a new Archive File is made available to buy, either as a complete collection or individual items. Files are available for a strict monthly window. When the window closes, the file is sealed (maybe) never to return.
I can't access the Central Terminal:
The Central Terminal is only available to users registered with an account here at Meta Cortex. You can still browse the shop and buy things, but if you want to get involved with the Meta Cortex ecosystem and redeem offers and access codes, the Central Terminal is the way to go.
Do I need an account to buy something?
As mentioned above, you don't need an account to buy things, only to engage with the Central Terminal.
I found an Access Code:

The code does nothing:
Sometimes codes are already redeemed, cancelled or you've entered it incorrectly. Double check the code and if it still doesn't work get in touch with me via the terminal.
Are your designs official?
No, Meta Cortex is proudly 100% unnofficial. I created all these designs from a combination of passion and the strange cultural debris that helped define me.
Can I make requests?
Initially no. I do have a plan to introduce a voting system with user requests down the line but that depends on future popularity.
